Here is a montage from the movie Scarface. Montages are used by directors to evoke a certain emotion from the viewer. The order, the length, and the arrangement of the shots are extremely important in determining the mood of the montage. A viewer can feel differently about a certain shot depending on the shots that came before it and shots that are shown after.

We didn't get any comments from students when our film was shown in the PAC but Mr. Bomboy commented that it had a great storyline. Despite this, in my opinion the storyline probably isn't clear to those who didn't work on the film. So, I think we could improve on storytelling. I think our strength was incorporating all the different types of shots into the film. My plan for next time is to tell a clearer story AND use the different types of camera shots,
